ABOUT ERIC AGUAYO

Portraits. Movement. Fine Art. — A Photographer Who Keeps It Human.

Hey there — meet Eric. Photographer, professional light wizard, and the calm presence behind the lens when it matters most. His magic power? Helping actors look like they’re one take away from an Oscar, theatre performers step confidently into the spotlight, and business professionals walk into rooms like they own it… plus landscapes so stunning you’ll start wondering if you’ve secretly been living in Rivendell (or the Shire, if second breakfast is more your vibe).

Origin story: Eric was that kid who loved art, and you just knew he was going places. His mama always said (in my best Forrest Gump voice), “Eric, you’ve got to pursue your artistic talents... just go with it, son.” And that’s exactly what he did. That path led him through traditional painting, film photography, and even industrial electronics — yeah, he’s old enough to remember when you actually had to wait for your photos to develop. Now, he’s out here capturing special moments and scratching his head, one click at a time.

Oh, cheap plug — he’s also SAG/AFTRA-affiliated, which means he’s spent time around real sets and real storytelling. Sometimes he’s helping bring a scene to life, sometimes he’s just standing there looking serious and important — classic Eric, right? That experience has shaped how he directs sessions: relaxed, collaborative, and genuinely sympathetic to how vulnerable being in front of a camera can feel. His approach is simple — just enough guidance to help people look like the best version of themselves without feeling forced. Think guidance, not pressure.

When he’s not getting you to tilt your chin just slightly to the left (trust me, it’ll make you 10% cooler), he’s out in nature, photographing beautiful landscapes that’ll have him deep in thought about life—or, more likely, wondering what his wife needed from the supermarket again. He lives in the picturesque Hudson Valley with his family, so there’s always beauty around him to capture—and things to be eaten by. And yeah, he’s an unapologetic 80’s kid, raised on synth music, B-movies, and side-scrolling video games.

So, if you need a professional photograph that says, “I’ve got 99 problems, but looking amazing isn’t one,” or a shot that’ll have your followers wondering how you look so effortlessly perfect in front of a laser backdrop (minus the Sears trauma), Eric’s your guy. He’ll make something that’ll make your mama proud—and your competitors wondering who your wizard is.
